Our guest house "Scholastika", located directly on the shores of Lake Chiemsee, was built as early as 1611 and has never been changed architecturally inwards and outwards. This simple, dormant structure conveys a special atmosphere that invites you to pause.

An integral part of Benedictine life is hospitality. As a rule, Benedict dedicates an entire chapter (53) to the reception of guests who "never miss the monastery". ...
We do not want to be a hotel. But we gladly accept guests for quiet days of reflection and contemplation and invite them to participate in the Liturgy of the Hours of the Sisters.
On request, there is also the opportunity for a spiritual conversation with a sister.
Women who want to clarify their vocation for a life in our community are welcome!
