Our circle of friends
In order to support us in fulfilling our cultural and pastoral tasks, the "Association of Friends of the Benedictine Abbey of Frauenwörth in Chiemsee eV" was founded in 1994.
The aim of the association is to raise funds for the maintenance of the monastery buildings and to contribute to a cost-effective and “island-compatible” use of the monastery buildings.
"For me, there is no comparable place that can compete with Frauenwörth in Lake Chiemsee in terms of the combination of intellectual and spiritual power source, modern adult education and attractive, idyllic landscape!
