PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION

This data protection information applies to data processing by the Benedictine Abbey of Frauenwörth in Chiemsee, a corporation under public law (hereinafter Frauenwörth Abbey).

We protect your privacy and your private data. We collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with the content of this data protection provision and the applicable data protection regulations. The Church Data Protection Regulation of the Order of Pontifical Law (KDR-OG) has been put into effect for the Frauenwörth Abbey.

The KDR-OG therefore applies to data processing by the Frauenwörth Abbey in accordance with Art. 91 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the KDR-OG.

2. TYPE, SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 Personal data within the meaning of these data protection provisions is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"). Depending on the use of our website, different personal data is processed to different extents.

2.2 Every time you access our website, i.e. the website https://www.frauenwoerth.de/ and its subpages, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
• IP address of the computer you are using,
• Date and time of access,
• Name and URL of the retrieved file,
• Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
• Type and version of the browser you are using and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.

The data mentioned in section 2.2 is processed by us for the following purposes:
​• Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
• Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
• Evaluation of system security and stability and
• for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for processing the data mentioned in section 2.2 is Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter g KDR-OG. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data mentioned in section 2.2 for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
The data mentioned in section 2.2 will be automatically deleted after 90 days.

2.3 We offer you the opportunity to contact us via the contact forms provided on the website to make inquiries. When using the contact form, the following information is required (mandatory information):
​• Your email address and
• In some cases, other information required for processing.
​Any additional information is provided on a voluntary basis and is therefore not mandatory (voluntary information).
The mandatory information specified in section 2.3 is collected and processed when using a contact form so that we know who the inquiry came from and can answer it.
The legal basis for processing this data transmitted as mandatory information is Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter g of the KDR-OG, as the collection and processing of the data required to process your inquiry is in your interest. After the inquiry has been processed, the data collected by us as mandatory information due to the use of the contact form is automatically deleted. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
For the processing of the voluntary information you have submitted, consent has been given in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of the KDR-OG. After the request has been processed, the data collected by us as voluntary information due to the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted. You can also revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. You can find more information on revoking your consent under Section 14. After the request has been processed, the data you have voluntarily submitted due to the use of the contact form will also be automatically deleted. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
To prevent misuse of our contact forms, we use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Inc. (Google). You can find more details on this under section 14.

2.4 When you use our online shop, the following personal data is collected and processed:
​• Your first and last name,
• Your address,
• Your telephone number,
• Your email address and
• The type and quantity of goods you have ordered.

The data mentioned in section 2.4 will be processed by us for the following purposes:
​• Identification of customers,
• Processing your order,
• Correspondence with you,
• Invoicing,
• Handling any existing liability claims, as well as the assertion of any claims against you.
​The legal basis for the processing of the data mentioned in section 2.4 is Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c KDR-OG. The data we collect for the processing of your order will be stored until the statutory retention period expires and then deleted.
2.5 We offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our annual newsletter magazine within Germany. It is sent by post. The order can be placed using an online form. When you order our newsletter magazine, we collect and process the following personal data (mandatory information):
• Your first and last name and
• Your address. We reserve the right to only send the newsletter magazine digitally by email in the future.
If you would like to continue receiving the newsletter magazine after switching to email delivery, you have the option of voluntarily providing us with your email address now. If we switch to email delivery, we will inform you in good time and send you an email to confirm.
The mandatory information specified in section 2.5 is collected and processed in order to be able to send you the newsletter magazine.
You have given your consent in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of the KDR-OG for the processing of the data you have submitted as specified in section 2.5. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter magazine, you can cancel at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. All you need to do is send us an informal email. In this case, we will not send you any further issues of the newsletter magazine and will immediately delete the data you have submitted as specified in section 2.5. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. You can find more information on revoking your consent under section 14.
If we stop sending the newsletter magazine, we will immediately delete the data you have provided under section 2.5.

3. SHARING OF DATA

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:
​• you have given your express consent to do so in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b KDR-OG,
• in the event that there is a legal obligation to pass on the data in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter d KDR-OG,
• this is legally permissible and is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c KDR-OG. In particular, the data required to send goods or the newsletter magazine (title, first and last name, address) will be passed on to the shipping company.

4. COOKIES

When you visit our website, we assign you a so-called "cookie identifier" (cookie). These are stored on the device you use (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and are intended to make it easier for you to use our website. However, we do not use this to obtain immediate knowledge of your identity. We use the following cookies:
• Session cookies are used to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our website.
• We also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness. They are stored on your device for a specific period of time. If you visit our website again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.
We would like to point out that the third-party services we use (see sections 5 - 10) also set cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. The data processed by cookies is required for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter g of the KDR-OG.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

​5. ANALYSIS TOOLS (Google Analytics)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

6.  RECAPTCHA

Zum Schutz Ihrer Anfragen per Internetformular verwenden wir den Dienst reCAPTCHA des Unternehmens Google Inc. (Google). Die Abfrage dient der Unterscheidung, ob die Eingabe durch einen Menschen oder missbräuchlich durch automatisierte, maschinelle Verarbeitung erfolgt. Die Abfrage schließt den Versand der IP-Adresse und ggf. weiterer von Google für den Dienst reCAPTCHA benötigter Daten an Google ein. Zu diesem Zweck wird Ihre Eingabe an Google übermittelt und dort weiter verwendet. Ihre IP-Adresse wird von Google jedoch innerhalb von Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union oder in anderen Vertragsstaaten des Abkommens über den Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum zuvor gekürzt. Teilweise wird von Google Ihre volle IP-Adresse an einen Server von Google in den USA übertragen und dort gekürzt.

8.  GOOGLE WEB FONTS

Diese Seite nutzt zur einheitlichen Darstellung von Schriftarten sogenannte Web Fonts, die von Google bereitgestellt werden. Beim Aufruf einer Seite lädt Ihr Browser die benötigten Web Fonts in Ihren Browsercache, um Texte und Schriftarten korrekt anzuzeigen.
Zu diesem Zweck muss der von Ihnen verwendete Browser Verbindung zu den Servern von Google aufnehmen. In unserem Online-Shop bieten wir u.a. die Bezahlung via PayPal an. Anbieter dieses Zahlungsdienstes ist die PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Ro-yal, L-2449 Luxembourg (im Folgenden “PayPal”). Wenn Sie sich für eine Bezahlung mit PayPal entscheiden, werden die von Ihnen eingegebenen Zahlungsdaten an PayPal übermittelt. 14. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTACT

You have the following rights with regard to the processing of your personal data:
​• According to Section 17 KDR-OG, you can request information about your personal data processed by us.
• According to Section 18 KDR-OG, you can request the immediate correction of incorrect or the completion of your personal data stored by us.
• According to Section 19 KDR-OG, you can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
• According to Section 20 KDR-OG, you can request that the processing of your personal data be restricted if you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Section 23 KDR-OG.
• According to Section 22 KDR-OG, you are entitled to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another responsible party.
• According to Section 8 Paragraph 6 KDR-OG, you can revoke your consent to us at any time. This means that we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future.
• If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 Letter g of the KDR-OG, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Section 23 of the GDPR, provided that there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation.
